Security
As a customer of Datacenter101, you can be assured that your IT infrastructure is of paramount importance and is secure 24/7. A multilayered approach to access control begins at the building's perimeter with a gated entrance. Other key components of our security system include: key card access, pin code entry, scramble pad, biometric screening, true mantrap design, and Closed Circuit TV CCTV/DVR monitoring. Our NOC staff monitors access to the facility through a stringent access policy which includes a ticketing system and access logs.
Cooling
Leading the industry in innovation and energy efficiency, Datacenter101 utilizes high capacity Liebert Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units. Providing precise, year-round cooling our CRAC units have multiple components of redundancy to include: multi stage un-loaders, compressors, dry coolers and independently operated fans to promote power efficiency. Furthermore, our units are ducted into our engineered hot aisle/cold aisle architecture which strategically balance dense loads and maintains an optimal temperature in the data center.
Monitored
Datacenter101's facility is diligently monitored around-the-clock. Our web portal integrates our entire infrastructure to include: generator, CRAC units, automatic transfer switches, uninterruptible power supply (UPS), smoke and particulate detectors, temperature, humidity, water, and our network core. Real-time monitoring allows us to respond proactively and resolve environmental issues before they impact our customers. Additionally, all CCTV feeds are monitored digitally, recorded and stored.
Maintenance Contracts
Datacenter101 subscribes to preventive maintenance as reflected in our standard operating procedures. All components of the data center are either under warranty and/or maintenance contract to respond efficiently to system irregularities. Additionally, facility status and all upcoming maintenance events are readily accessible on our website and through our secure customer portal.
Air Quality
Datacenter101 is professionally cleaned and maintained by the same company that cleans for Microsoft, Google and DoD as well as other high profile companies. We received an excellent particulate air quality rating by our vendor and is qualified as an ISO clean room.
