Power

Two Utilities and Back-Up Generator
As a next-generation data center, Datacenter101's power grid is fully redundant and scalable to meet the diverse needs of our customers. Our grid encompasses two independent utility sources and an onsite backup diesel generator. Each source is dedicated to the data center and sized to carry 100% of the load. Additionally, our fail-over system (make-before-break technology) seamlessly responds to any irregularities in power delivery thereby eliminating the risk of a power outage in the event of an emergency. Our standalone power sources along with our fail-over technology give our customers the peace of mind that we can meet our Service Level Agreement (SLA) of 100% guaranteed uptime.

Separate Power Paths
Datacenter101 reinforces “No single point of failure" through its power distribution. We incorporate a true A and B power system that utilizes two power paths that are entirely separate and diverse. This approach provides our customers with an additional layer of power redundancy.

Conditioned UPS Power
Datacenter101 customers can be assured of superior quality power at our colocation facility. Fully scalable, our state-of-the-art uninterruptible power supply (UPSs) conditions the power and provides battery back-up to ensure a smooth transition from one source to another. Our power  is distributed throughout the facility via “A" Side/"B" Side Eaton/Powerware UPSs and delivered to your servers at a near perfect average power factor of .99.
